Actor and singer Ray Quinn has been named as the new celebrity ambassador for charity Variety, which supports children and young people in the UK who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged.

Quinn said of the appointment 'I am thrilled and honoured to be part of such an incredible charity. Variety's work with children and young people is awe-inspiring and their dedication and enthusiasm to their cause is second to none. I will do everything I can to support the charity and help raise the vital funds they require to continue offering their incredible services'.
